Every festival must have its fringe. Away from the glamour, wealth, and sunshine, this is where the real theatre happens. Staged in the atmospheric, dystopian shadow of Brasenose’s very own ‘70s concrete hellhole, our entrants will perform an original monologue of up to 10 minutes in length. The only rules are originality and length – the content is absolutely up to them. Edgy, slick, refined, explicit, understated, melodramatic, endearing, repulsive: there’s no knowing what’s in store.
