Celebrate the opening of the festival with musicians from across the university in what we hope will be a splendidly sunny afternoon of jazz and Pimm’s and light snacks on New Quad. Set groups, whether jazz trios or quintets derived from the larger jazz orchestras will play sequences of standards, before the event is opened up for these exceptional musicians to jam together.
